Short Synopsis
Soil and culture — a lyrical short film about the potters, farmers and ritual-keepers whose hands still shape the everyday sacred of rural Nepal.
Extended Synopsis
Maato Ra Sanskriti (‘Soil and Culture’) is a short cinematic essay on the artisans of Bhaktapur and the Terai — potters, weavers, festival makers — whose work sits at the meeting-point of daily livelihood and inherited ritual. A meditation on the tactile intelligence of a country that still knows how to make things by hand.
